The day Tunde Adebayo graduates from secondary school should mark the beginning of a brighter future. Instead, it becomes the day he loses everything.

After a tragic accident claims the lives of his parents, seventeen-year-old Tunde watches helplessly as greedy relatives steal the family business, sell the house, and leave him and his five-year-old sister, Amara, with nothing.

Separated from the only family he has left, Tunde struggles to survive in the streets of Lagos while clinging to one promise: He will bring Amara home.

But when Amara runs away from the orphanage in search of her brother and is found living beneath a bridge, Tunde realizes he can no longer wait for the perfect moment.

With little more than determination, he takes on impossible jobs, learns from unlikely mentors, and begins rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
